Position Summary
Family of Kidz is seeking a reliable and experienced Painter / Patcher to support maintenance and upkeep across multiple sites in Nassau and Suffolk County. This part-time evening role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in craftsmanship, safety, and attention to detail. Schedule Details
- Part-Time
- 4 days per week
- 6 hours per shift
- 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Monday–Friday availability
- Evening schedule designed to avoid disruption to daily operations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interior painting, patching, and surface preparation
- Repair holes, cracks, and wall damage (spackle, sanding, priming)
- Touch-up painting and full-room repainting as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Travel between multiple Long Island sites as assigned
- Communicate job status and completion to facilities leadership
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Prior experience in painting and patching
- Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and reliability
Compensation
